21 Days to Make or Break a Habit Freebie
People say that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. If this is true I should be a fitness nut by the end of January. The truth is, there is no actual evidence that this is true. The claim is based on experience from many people who claim have tried it and have had success.
I know a habit is easier to make than to break, and since I am trying to make new healthier habits this new year, why not give it a go! As many of you know I am a Pilates Instructor here in San Diego and although I am obsessed with fitness, I do tend to get caught up in the teaching aspect and forget to take care of myself. So just like I am using my goal sheets to set new goals for the following year, I am using these following sheets to put new habits into play as well.
So here’s the skinny..
Print the following sheets (3) and fold each sheet along the horizontal line.
Then cut along each vertical line up to the fold.
Last, stick it up in a wall somewhere where you have to see it daily.
Here is a funny example I found online :
Now I can’t rip the day off unless I…
- Do a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise.
- Drink a minimum of 4 large glasses of water.
Doesn’t seem too hard right? I will let you know how it went on the 21st day.
Whether you are breaking a habit or making a new on this following year, let’s do it together!
Download your habit freebie below and let me know what habit you are making or breaking.
