What is Digital Planning?
Digital planners are PDF files that are built to look like a real planner. They can be used to replace your everyday paper and pen or added as a powerful supplement to your pen and paper planner. Many come with clickable tabs and even digital stickers that look like real sticky pads. These files are then imported into your favorite note-taking app on your iPad. I usually do our tutorials with GoodNotes because it’s the most popular application being used.
How Digital Planning Works
Tools:
You are going to need some basic tools to get started digitally planning. The most important of which is a tablet (Ipad) with stylus (Ipen) capability. I only have had experience with Apple products so I cannot be of too much assistance in the alternative. You will also need to download that note taking app that I mentioned before.
Choose your planner:
Ok, so you have your tablet with the Goodnotes app and pen ready, now what? Now you need to find yourself the perfect planner. What exactly are you looking for? There is a ton of different options out there to choose from. From daily and monthly planners to organizing planners and notebooks, your choices are endless.
Personalize:
Now it’s time to personalize your planner. There are tons of different ways to do so, from stickers, to washi tapes, sticky notes and inserts. It’s time to get creative.
